eCerts Now Inc. was founded in 2021 by two South Florida Fire Service professionals. The company was formed to provide the highest quality educational services for the general public and for frontline workers. The founding partners both have extensive backgrounds in their respective fields and are determined to provide their services with integrity and excellence.  

 

David Sola (President) is a 14-year Fire Service veteran. He began his career in 2009, with the City of Hollywood Fire Department, where he was a member of the Special Operations/Hazardous Materials Team. He joined the Miami Beach Fire Department in 2012, where he currently holds the rank of Special Operations Lieutenant. David is also a state-certified paramedic and holds technician-level certifications in rope rescue, confined space rescue, heavy machinery, structural collapse, hazardous materials, rescue diver, and swift water rescue. He has been a member of FEMA Florida Urban Search and Rescue Task Force 2, assigned as a hazmat, rescue, and swift water specialist. He has been deployed to numerous disasters including Hurricane Matthew, Hurricane Irma, Surfside Collapse, and Hurricane Ian.

Carlos Martinez (Vice President) is a 21-year Fire Service veteran who began his career in the United States Air Force as a military firefighter in 2001 immediately after the attacks of 9/11. Carlos deployed to Iraq in early 2003 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as an initial team member in the early days of the war. After his time in the military, Carlos worked at numerous military installations as a firefighter and driver engineer in the Middle East, Europe, and the Southern Caribbean. In 2013, Carlos joined the City of Coral Gables Fire Department where he currently holds the rank of Rescue Lieutenant. He has been an educator of Emergency Medicine and Paramedic classes since 2014 at different educational institutions throughout Miami Dade County. Carlos is a family-oriented, dedicated, disciplined, enthusiastic, and highly involved Fire Service professional. 

 

Both David and Carlos are well known around the South Florida Firefighting community due to their work ethic, dedication to their craft, and their commitment to the community. eCerts Now Inc. is a company operated by frontline first responders, military veterans, and family-oriented individuals who believe in always doing the right thing for their clients.
